I am a theatre maker, director, and actor from Caracas, Venezuela, currently based in South Florida.

 

I studied acting and directing at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, where I received a BFA in Drama with a concentration in Directing. I just recently achieved my MFA in Theatre Directing at East 15 Acting School in Loughton, Essex, UK.

I've worked with Talawa Theatre Company, Park Theatre, UNCSA, Rutgers University at Shakespeare's Globe, Artists Corps at UNCSA, NC Black Rep, and interned at Miami New Drama.

I consider my work in both acting and directing to be a part of my theatre practice, focusing on the intersection between race, gender, queerness, and cultures. I like to mix these themes in a variety of performance styles, from devised work, to musical theatre, to contemporary drama.

 

My hope is to form a devising theatre company and eventually become a professor of acting and directing for university theatre students.
