I am a theatre maker, director, and actor from Caracas, Venezuela, currently based in South Florida.

 

I studied acting and directing at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, where I received a BFA in Drama with a concentration in Directing. I just recently achieved my MFA in Theatre Directing at East 15 Acting School in Loughton, Essex, UK.

I've worked with Talawa Theatre Company, Park Theatre, Piece of Cake Productions, UNCSA, Rutgers University at Shakespeare's Globe, Artists Corps at UNCSA, NC Black Rep, and interned at Miami New Drama.

I consider my work in acting, directing, and writing to be a part of my theatre practice, working in a variety of performance styles, from devised work, to musical theatre, to contemporary drama.

I want to tell stories about how people connect to each other, so that we can all be a little less lonely; I am aware of the broadness of that goal, but maybe it's about trying more than succeding.

 

My hope is to form a theatre company and eventually become a professor of drama, teaching acting, directing, and playwriting to students.
